Description
Hello:
Our FACTUAL (Food and Agriculture Cloud Technology Universal Application
Layer) was awarded funding from the Fractals project. More precisely, things
will officially be finalized during May but we want already to start moving
into the Fiware environment.
Could you please introduce us to someone who can help us in the initial
phase. Namely, our current version of software runs in Java/Glassfish/MySQL
environment without reliance on Fiware. We wish to deploy it in Fiware Lab
and then gradually start to introduce Fiware GEs where possible. I am sure
it will not take much of your time. I just want to see our current version
of software up and running in Fiware Lab so we can gradually start to tie it
to Fiware GEs piece-by-piece.
In addition, is there any technical documentation that is more detailed than
slides and webinars? I would like to se some documets like "Hello World" or
"Quick start" that would get us up and running very quickly.
Thank you very much in advance.

Dear Dragomir ,
The first thing that springs to mind is the Quick FIWARE tour that we created to give a quick overview of what we offer and how FIWARE works in multiple scenarios.
also, there are 6 video tutorials that we created to avoid giving one course to each one of the thousands of teams that use FIWARE Lab (this would be infeasible in practical terms):
However, as this is a common need, the FIWARE Programme allocated resources to the so-called "FIWARE coaches" that are the people that have availability to provide guidance. In the case of Fractals, this is Ilknur (ilknur.chulani@atos.net<ilknur.chulani@atos.net>). This is the main contact for this sort of request.
Also, there is a forthcoming event in Vienna that is precisely to do what you are asking for:
In any case, if you get stuck with concrete steps you can always ask on fiware-lab-help@lists.fi-ware.org<fiware-lab-help@lists.fi-ware.org>
I hope that it helps.
Miguel
