Description
Hi,
Sorry but I´ve found enablers classification terribly confusing. Could
please explain these groups?
http://www.fiware.org/tour-guide/ ¿Which ones are generic or specific?
http://catalogue.fiware.org/ ¿Are these ones generic? ¿Is there any
description of Domain Specific Enablers? ¿Are Domain Specific Enablers
categorized as Generic or Specific?
http://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers ¿Are we sure that these ones are
Generic?
Thank you very much for your attention,
Ivan Muñiz

Dear Iván,
fiware.org is about the Core Platform (Generic Enablers) and the
associated catalogue you refer to is linked to this site. In other
words, all you refer to is Generic Enablers.
The answer to the 3 questions is "all of them are Generic Enablers".
The catalogue have incorporated a new design that will allow us to be
more inclusive and add domain Specific Enablers in the future. AFAIK
none has been incorporated yet but it'll happen eventually.
This I am going to tell you now falls a bit beyond the scope of this
support list that is about the FIWARE Core but I think that I can give
you a few pointers in case they help. There are a number of Use Case
Projects specialised in different domains that experimented
using FIWARE in the past. These have Specific Enablers created by a few
of them and some even have a catalogue. If you go to
http://www.fi-ppp.eu/projects/
you'll see a few blocks. Go to the block called "Usage areas and use
case projects". Most of the SEs are in the Use Case projects tagged with
"Phase 2".
Each one of them has its own website .
Example: Finesce (www.finesce.eu) is about the Smart Electricity domain and following links, I get to this place:
http://finesce.github.io/
If you need support about Use Cases or their SEs, you'll have to contact
the use cases directly (they provide contact channels in their sites) .
If you need support for the Core Platform (Generic Enablers) , you need
to use these channels:
http://www.fiware.org/contact-us
I hope that this clarifies,
Miguel
