Installing Cosmos CLI
System requirements are python 2.7 with setuptools. In order to
install the CLI, just type:
$ easy_install https://cosmos.hi.inet:8000/eggs/cosmos-py2.7.egg
Once it is installed, it requires minimum configuration:
$ cosmos configure
Certain information will be asked:
Use https://cosmos.hi.inet/cosmos/v1 as the API base URL.
Provide your API credentials (please, don't share with anyone).
Type the SSH command.
This configuration file is placed at ~/.cosmosrc in a Linux/OS X box
and at %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\cosmosrc.yaml on Windows boxes.

Hi Alejandro,
I think I tod you about this, but there is no problem in repeating the message
You don’t need to install the Cosmos platform for using the Big Data enabler, because there is an already deployed instance of Hadoop at FIWARE LAB. You only need to create an account at http://cosmos.lab.fi-ware.org/cosmos-gui/ by using your FIWARE LAB credentials. Once created the account, you will have access to the global instance and you will be able to start uploading data, analyzing it, etc. Some interesting links about how to use the global instance:
http://es.slideshare.net/FranciscoRomeroBueno/fiwarefdwbigdataday1v1
http://es.slideshare.net/FranciscoRomeroBueno/fiwarefdwbigdataday2v1
Even more, installing Cosmos is only addressed to large operators and service providers. As an analogy, installing Cosmos is the same than installing your own cloud platform: it has no sense for an user.
Regards,
Francisco
