Dears,
A developer asks us how to export a snapshot from one project to another.
We found that a snapshot can be made public, and then it disappears from
the user snapshots list and appears into the Images list of the same node.
We thought that, at least, this was one way to accomplish the developers
need.
He tried in the Budapest node, that's where he has his instances, and the
snapshots disappeared from users snapshots list, but didn't appear in the
Budapest Images list.
We tried this process in the Spain node successfully.
First question, is that a correct way to export snapshots?
Second question, if so, why the snapshots don't appear in the Images list?
The name of the developer snapshots he tried are:

All the vm snapshots of community users have been moved to region Budapest2, our new more stable environment.

He wants to know how to move snapshots in FIWARE Lab (exporting, importing, etc.).
Opening the issue until there is a more suitable answer.

Sorry for the late answer. Unfortunately, a user cannot export and import vm images including snapshots, because of legal and other issues. Moving a vm from one region to another requires the assitance of the region operators, since they have the right to export/import a snapshot or other vm images. If your user needs this, of course we can manually export the snapshot for them.
