please check your scripts.

Why has the machine iais-co an error state?

We have tried to create a new big instance from a snapshot but this fails. However creation of a smaller instance succeeded.

Hi,

We are currently working on this problem, it seems related to the custom flavor used. (m1.large-FIC2LAB)
We created this custom flavor as an alternative to the 2 biggest (and removed) default flavors that were so much resources consuming.
When trying this custom flavor on another tenant, it works.

We are still investigating and will let you know as soon as we got a solution

The reason of this problem seems to be the lack of resources regarding the large flavor use.
When I tried this flavor on my test tenant, I deleted the other instances hosted on it, this is why it worked.

I suggest you to delete your test instances created with large flavors, if they are really launched for tests purposes I don't think you need so much resources.
I think of the following instances :

• dirk-test-2 / 8afb1252-970e-4bf6-9bec-0365fa84fadc (using m1.large-FIC2LAB flavor)
• dirk-tutorial-test / a0d5ffed-0c96-4a09-a823-62b4f4510cfc (using a largest flavor we disabled since this instance was created)

Can you please try to delete those test instances (if their names match their use, i.e tests), and launch a new one with the large-FIC2LAB flavor, to confirm the flavor is indeed working on your tenant ?

I recommend you to use the tiny flavor for test instances, in this way you will keep resources for production instances. Also once your tests are done with an instance, you can delete it to free resources for more important needs.
