Dear Mr/Mrs,
We want to take a look if we want and can work with fiware. But a couple of things aren’t clear to us:
A. Where can we find these generic enables?
B. How can we work with them?
C. What are the open standards? Where can we find it?
D. And are these standards where we must work on clear? What is their design?
E. Where can we find technical specification? Of how to work with it!

Is there already more info about the emails underneath?
A fiware call with regar tot the sensor technologie (f.e. in smart cities)
needed for the fiware to work better, faster etc.

Dear Mr Bierens,
The call has experienced many iterations internally and with the EC.
This has caused internal changes in the target date.
The focus is shifting towards computing capacity (more nodes like the
ones we have already) and support (rather than sensors) but I should not
disclose more information.
So the focus as it is now will not be the one you express in your
reminder. This is informal info and subject to changes, the information
that is valid is the call once it is published.

Dear Twan,
Yes, the call for the expansion of the FIWARE Lab nodes is closed and under evaluation. According to the info I have now, there are no immediate plans for more open calls. There is a always a possibility of changes but if nothing varies the current situation, I do not see significant funding opportunities within FIWARE in the near future.
All I can think of is that there will possibly be some sort of mechanism to foster external contributions with prizes but I reckon they will be below 1000eur (you are possibly seeking something different). This is under elaboration, I cannot anticipate too much more.

Let me provide quick pointers.
A) Short answer: the catalogue has the pointers.
Long answer:
The best approach is to go to the catalogue (http://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers) and see our current offer. The catalogue concentrates the information of all the the available GEs with all the pointers to the manuals, open specs, terms of use, software, etc.
The definition of the Open Specs and the Manuals associated to each one of the is on the wiki (http://wiki.fiware.org/<http://wiki.fi-ware.org/>). The wiki is complex since it has loads of information. The pages you look for are there:
However, these pages also include GEs that are no longer maintained by FIWARE. The safest approach is to go to the catalogue and the catalogue will (hopefully) give you the direct links to the wiki pages that are related to the GE with no need to click though wiki menus.
May I point out that we have a free experimentation environment called FIWARE Lab (https://lab.fiware.org/<https://lab.fi-ware.org/>) where we are progressively making available our GEs with self-deployment facilities. We also have online eLearning courses (http://edu.fiware.org/<http://edu.fi-ware.org/>)
B ) FIWARE is providing the so called Generic Enablers . Generic means that they can be applied to no matter what industry, they are general purpose artefacts. The GEs normally expose REST APIs (defined in the Open specs) and you talk to them from your app. So you see the functionality we provide (browsing the catalogue) and you install those that are useful for your purposes.
The Ges can be used by means of the self deployment facilities in FIWARE Lab (preferred option) or installing them locally.
