Description
Hello Alberto,
Every context element is translated into an input event in the CEP.
Currently the integration doesn't support getting several events in the
same message.
Do you have an option to send to the CEP every context separately (using
the CB configuration)?
I added a cc to the FI-WARE issue tracking, in order to have this
corresponding documented. Please add it as a cc too.
Regards,
Tali

Subject: RE: I need help: Technical issue with Proton
Hello Tali:
I appreciate your reply, thank you so much.
We followed the CEP user guide. The integration with Context Broker was
successful. Our problem is when CEP receive events with several context
elements (i.e the attached: the event data used in the post). In those
cases we have a problem when CEP parsing event. In consequence, we obtain
different response of the project on derived event attributes calculation.
In addition we attach the project definition too.
We are using open source Proton from Github. Thank you in advance.

Hello Alberto,
Glad you are using the CEP.
The CEP supports getting events from Orion Context Broker. However, you
need to define the CEP input events with specific attributes that are
mapped to the CB context update event attributes.
Did you follow the CEP user guide Appendix on the way to integrate the
two?
If you did and you still have a problem, please send me your CEP
definition file (using export) and the event data you used in the post.
The Proton you have was taken from the open source?
You don't need to define producer in order to get events through the REST
interface (Producer defines how the CEP should send output events)

Tali

Subject: I need help: Technical issue with Proton
Hello Tali:
We are working with Proton 1.0.4 and we made a subscription to Context
Broker. We are receiving events with several entityId´s like the example
above. We would like to know whether Proton are able to parse this type of
events. We tried to do with a single producer and one set attributes and
the parsing was wrong. Is it possible to do that without modify the
Proton´s code?
Thank you so much in advance

Hi Tali:
We would like working with a large set of data sources (i.e Windturbines). We want to avoid latency between them in order to obtain accurate calculations. We prefer to work with several events inside xml. Thank you for your attention. If someone have any advice, comments, we are glad to hear you.
