FIWARE.Request.General. FI-Lab Assistance - Update of Term and Conditions and new user policies

      Description

      Dear FIWARE-Lab HelpTeam,

      As part of the FIspace project we are using the FIWARE Lab for having a virtual machine as testing and demonstration environment for apps developed for the FIspace platform.
      Recently my colleague Philip Reimer (reimer@atb-bremen.de<reimer@atb-bremen.de>) received an email with an "Update of Term and Conditions and new user policies". We followed the mentioned link for accepting the new defined policies and already accepted them.
      Because we did not find any information about the account's category ("Trial" or "Community"), please could you provide us the category of the FI-Lab account "reimer@atb-bremen.de<reimer@atb-bremen.de>"?
      If the account category is just "Trial", how can we obtain a Community account?
      As part of the FIspace project and the FI-PPP-Programme, is there a way to extend the access limited to 9 months for our community account?

      Further we would like to ensure that our virtual machine on FIWARE Lab (incl. the running processes and existing data on it) will remain operational at least for the duration of the FI-PPP program/ phase 3. What actions do we need to take to make that happen?
      Does this applying of new policies affect the operation of the virtual machines and/or the running processes?
      Do we have to re-register our virtual machine or re-install our application running on it during or after the applying process?

        as FI-PPP member you have a special status. Your account won't have an
        expiration (like mine, I hope!)
        Nevertheless, in the assesment process and optmization of used resources -
        there may be some downtime -
        or your vms may be moved to a different node (public ip may change, but you
        won't need to reinstall, that's on us)

        the current accounts do not have a status. An application form for Community status will be available shortly. As mentioned in the email, the new policies are entering in force only from 24/02/2015. You will get further information well in time.
