      Description

We are evaluating the current published catalogue, with respect to the
      FIWARE accelerator program

We have experience with two fiware GEs

Why are these not in the public catalogue? Or have I missed them?

Are they legitimate candidates for integrating on the FIWARE accelerator
      programme ?

      Nick

Regarding CKAN, there should be a draft entry that we will move to published as soon as version 2.3 is released in FIWARE Lab. It's a new GE from Data chapter.

Regaridng Webinos, no clue what it is.

        Dear Nick,

Let me provide you an answer concerning the Webinos item mentioned in your mail. The CDI Generic Enabler, whose developments were based on Webinos, was present in the FIWARE catalogue since its former release. In the current version of the FIWARE catalogue, only those Generic Enablers with specific support by the GE owner and with new developments planned in next releases are listed, while CDI will not evolve any longer. We are however considering to list in the catalogue those GEs like CDI with no updates, but which could still be used by a developer.

        Best Regards
        Pier

        Dear Nick,

My apologies for the belated reply.

As regards CKAN, it can be included in proposals. This software has been included in our roadmap (see [1] & [2]) and it will be incorporated to FIWARE shortly. The theoretical date is after the end of March (end of R4.2) but we intend to have it earlier than that.

In the mean time you may want to experiment with "out of the self" versions of CKAN that are already available on http://ckan.org/

        Best regards,

        Miguel
