      Description

      Hello,
I would like to play a bit with the Gateway Data Handling GE using FIWARE Lab.

According to the GE documentation there should be a "IoT-EspR4FastData" instance available in the list of the available instances,
but there isn't. I tried changing a few regions without success.

Then, I saw that there is a blueprint template "EspR4FastData" in the catalog of Blueprint templates. I created my own template based on it and then I created an instance.
Unfortunately the deployment process ended up with the error:
Infrastructure error Error in parse response after deploy the VM 4b2ec993xxx-xxx...

What is the correct procedure in order to get a working instance of this GE?

      Thanks in advance

      Walter Ferrari

        Hi Walter,

There are issues under investigation, regarding EspR4FastData in FILAB.

Alternative solutions to try EspR4FastData are:

        1. follow the installation manual at https://forge.fiware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Gateway_Data_Handling_-_Esper4FastData_-_Installation_and_Administration_Guide in order to install the package by yourself, locally, on a machine of yours. There are not much dependencies, the install process is usually easy.

        2. Give the global instance a try at http://gwdatahdl2.testbed.fi-ware.eu:8080 It's already running and ready to use

In both case, my advice is to make use of the automated testing SoapUI project, that will help you in testing and uderstanding the enabler. This SoapUI project is available from within the downloadable package at https://forge.fiware.org/frs/download.php/1545/EspR4FastData-3.3.3-build-20141125.zip

        Best regards,

        Laurent
