      Description

      Dear FIWARE-FI-Lab Teams,

I am trying to use FIWARE FI-Lab.

I have a FI-Lab account. I can connect. I can navigate on various menu item. I created organizations, check my account info.,...

I go to the Cloud page and the following message appear:

“The Spain Region is out of scope of resources. We are working in order to resolve this issue and increase the capacity of that region as soon as possible. In the meantime try to use the other regions (under configuration and testing). Please be patient, you may experience some problems until we finish the ongoing configuration and testing tasks.

Please don't hesitate to contact us reporting any problem you may experience on FIWARE Lab by sending an email to fiware-lab-help@lists.fi-ware.org<fiware-lab-help@lists.fi-ware.org>”

      What does it mean exactly?
Does it mean that I cannot use or create cloud resources from this “node” (Spain), create instances,…?

I press “Continue” and I see the Cloud page.

My main issue is that when I try to create an instance. I created before Security groups, Keypairs, allocated IP Address (only one can be created if not : “ERROR: You exceeded the limit of Floating IPs”).
I launch and configure an image based on Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 (x64) but when the instance is created, the local IP address field is empty and the status is ERROR.
I tried to associate a Floating IP to my instance but there is an error 413 and 400.

Please could you tell me where is the error. Or it is due to some problem in your cloud infrastructure.
How I can resolve this issues or creating an image without errors and use it.

      Thank you in advance,

PS: This duplicated ticket replace the previous that must be removed.

        Dear Said,

The meaning of this is that we have resorted to the Spanish node by default on a number of occasions (for instance in hackathons, etc) and the capacity has been depleted. In other words, if you demand new virtual machines, openstack will refuse to provide them. We are working onto it to see what to do to prevent this from happeing in the future. Also, we are goingto have more physical servers shortly (we do not have a definite deadline for this)

In other words, if you try to instantiate new virtual machines in Spain, you will possibly fail to do so.

I believe that this is going to be a problem as you put it but let us escalate the case to the Spanish node support.

Your email address gets automatically recorded each time you reply. Please tell the person in chargo of the ticket to remove it from all the entries caused by your emails sent to the lsit. I did it already for the previous one, it is very easy to do.

        Regards,

        Miguel

A clarification: if something was previously instantiated and the virtual machine/s was/were already there, they will continue working. This is just about new virtual infra.
