      Description

      Good afternoon

I have created the following Orion instance

      Name: orionB1
      ID: 2a632ea5-16e2-445b-9075-2e35bacd11aa
      Status: ACTIVE

      Specs
      RAM: 512MB
      VCPUs: 1 VCPU
      Disk: 0GB

      IP Addresses
      publicInternal: XXX
      publicInternal: YYYY

      Security Groups
      default

      Meta
      Key name: orion5
      Image Name: orion-psb-image-R4.1
      region: Budapest

      Volumes
      /dev/vdc

      Installed Software
Image orion-psb-image-R4.1 does not allow Software Management with SDC.

      On the Budapest region.

security group default has the following ranges:

IP Protocol From Port To Port Source Action
      TCP 1 80 0.0.0.0/0 (CIDR) Delete Rule
      TCP 1 8080 0.0.0.0/0 (CIDR) Delete Rule
      TCP 1 22 0.0.0.0/0 (CIDR) Delete Rule
      TCP 22 22 0.0.0.0/0 (CIDR) Delete Rule

I have assigned a public range floating ip address, but when I try to access with putty it can't connect. Not asking user login.

I have tried to connect with the supplied pem key converted to a ppk key with puttygen.
I can connect to machines on other nets trough ssh so my local firewall is allowing outgoing connections.

Do I need to do additional configuration?

I can connect to the instance with the utility "Connect directly to the Virtual Machine display" but don't know which user and password to use.

I've tried to create instances on another regions (Spain, Trento, Prague...) but keep reciving errors on instance start-up.

      thanks
      Rafael

        Dear Rafael,

I think the problem was caused by us, since Budapest node was rebooted
recently, and the dhcp service did not started properly. Your vm is now
available from outside, I rebooted it, and checked that ssh port is open
        and reachable.

Sorry for the inconvenience and let us know if the problem is still there.

        Best regards,
        Sandor

        Dear

I have changed security group to add Orion port (1026) and rebooted instance.

But now I can't connect with ssh like yesterday.

Do I need to do additional configuration?

        Thanks.

        Dear Rafael,

We managed to localize the problem, it was also related to our system reboot mentioned earlier. So, now you can access your vm, suspend and resume also work.

If you experience any other issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.

        Best,
        Sandor
