        Dear,

        Regarding connection problem:
        You cannot access your instance because 192.168.111.28 is an internal IP (used in LAN network). You won’t be able to reach your VM via ssh using that IP, but you can reach it through the console (click on instance name -> click on Connection -> click on View display).

        To connect to your VM using ssh you need to associate a floating/public IP to your instance.

        Regarding FIWARE learning:
        If you are approaching FIWARE and need to get more information about it, I suggest to check the following links:
        1. The catalogue of Generic Enablers (GEs): http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/enablers
        2. The FIWARE Academy e-learning portal: edu.fiware.org
        3. Videos: http://help.lab.fi-ware.org/
        4. The cloud portal: cloud.lab.fi-ware.org

        Best regards,
        Daniele

        Thank you for quick response.
        I follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mb7CdMnZh7Q&index=4&list=PLR9elAI9JscSOuSnwIkGzSVW1QKgfDk6d
        so I did associate IP to my istance. Whan I didn't have any luck with connecting via ssh I delete everything I create and start over.
        I'm not sure did I do something wrong (chose wrong region, set wrong ports, etc.).

        Here is how I do this.

        1st step: create public key (http://prntscr.com/5rkf71 <http://prntscr.com/5rkf71>) and download it
        2nd step: http://prntscr.com/5rkfs3 <http://prntscr.com/5rkfs3>
        3rd step: http://prntscr.com/5rkgdl <http://prntscr.com/5rkgdl> , http://prntscr.com/5rkgku <http://prntscr.com/5rkgku>
        4th step: went to images and chose Ubuntu12.04-server-x86_64
        5th step: http://prntscr.com/5rkhg4 <http://prntscr.com/5rkhg4> , http://prntscr.com/5rkhlb <http://prntscr.com/5rkhlb> , http://prntscr.com/5rkhqi <http://prntscr.com/5rkhqi> , http://prntscr.com/5rkhvy <http://prntscr.com/5rkhvy> , http://prntscr.com/5rkhzx <http://prntscr.com/5rkhzx> , http://prntscr.com/5rki8w <http://prntscr.com/5rki8w>
        6th step: http://prntscr.com/5rkig6 <http://prntscr.com/5rkig6> , http://prntscr.com/5rkila <http://prntscr.com/5rkila>
        and after that get this error {"badRequest": {"message": "Error. Unable to associate floating ip", "code": 400}}

        what I did wrong?

        Dear,

        In the process you followed there are no mistakes.

        I will forward your request to the Trento node, probably they need to assign a public IP to you in order to get it working.

        Moreover about the console login:

        Usually every cloud image has default username and password to access via console but not all images allow local login, if it is the case you should connect via ssh after obtained a public/floating IP. Another way is to set a password via a cloud-init script, see below.

        To access your instances you can use:

        • floating IP with key pair and access via SSH
        • inject in the instance a cloud-init script when creating it
          e.g.: #cloud-config
          password: admin
          chpasswd: { expire: False }

          ssh_pwauth: True

        Daniele
