      Description

      Dear Madam/Sir,
We are e.Ray, a start up company. We are developing eco-friendly Micro Hydro power plant. For this plant we are planning to develop a sensor system for collection of data and processing it and we are interested to develop it using Fiware We want to participate INCENSe accelerator program. We have some doubts regarding application for this competition. Can you please help us with this.
Technical Questions:1.How to use the connection to the API?
2.How to implement application using JAVA or C or we are free to select any language?.3.Do we need to Provide information model in Particular format like ER, UML etc?
4.How to implement framework for the application implement for controlling access to data exported or API,It is quiet confusing?
      5. Can you help with what exactly you mean by security thread and implementation of it? Awaiting for reply. Thanks in advance.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

        Dear,

I will try to reply you punctually but probably many of the questions should be asked to the relative INCENSe accelerator.

        1) It depends on the API. Usually developers choose a GE (Generic Enabler) form the FIWARE catalog and connects their application to it using specific GE API.
        2) You can develop you application in whatever language you like using a FIWARE instance or you can take advantages of pre-configured tier from Blueprint template or GEs for specific services. Then it depends also on the language constraints your accellerator may apply, if any.
3,4 and 5) Probably this questions should be asked to the INCENSe accelerator

Since you are approaching FIWARE and probably you would like to get more information about it, I suggest to check the following links:
        1. The catalogue of Generic Enablers (GEs): http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/enablers
        2. The FIWARE Academy e-learning portal: edu.fiware.org
        3. Videos: http://help.lab.fi-ware.org/
        4. The cloud portal: cloud.lab.fi-ware.org

        Best regards,
        Daniele
