I tried both ubuntu13.10 (which I don't think is supported any more by canonical - should there be a 12.04 or a 14.04 also available?) and the CentOS image, but with no success. Are the issues related to the software on the marketplace that isn't tested enough? We've had less problems using the cloud.lab, even though there are difficulties there as well. The success of instantiating a GE from an image is not always certain, and some of the requests from the Nova (such as deploying a new instance, requesting a status of an instance by clicking an never finishes, leaving me with a spinning orb blank out until refreshing the page. In some task when a Nova wizard makes AJAX requests that the server never respods to, this makes it impossible to finish a task and requires a refresh of the whole page. On the screenshot below, the grey GET bullets in the Network view are waiting for a response indefinately.
