Description
Hi,
We have an urgent questions concerning historical data, the integration of Quantumleap with Timescale DB as persistence layer.
https://quantumleap.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ states that:
'This means that for now the only way to access your data is to query the Timescale DB directly. However, data querying and retrieval through the REST API is planned for the upcoming QuantumLeap major release.'
What is the status of the data quering and retrival? When is this major release?
What is the latest version of TimeScale for compatibility reasons? We are planning to use the open-source version of TimeScale (cfr. https://www.timescale.com/products & https://github.com/timescale/timescaledb).
Thanks in advance,
Gijs

Dear Gijs,
the main support channel for QL is github (https://github.com/smartsdk/ngsi-timeseries-api).
As by documentation there,
```
QuantumLeap supports both Crate DB and Timescale as time-series DB backends but please bear in mind that at the moment we only support the following versions:
Crate backend: Crate DB version 3.3.*
Timescale backend: Postgres version 10.* or 11.* + Timescale extension 1.3.* + Postgis extension 2.5.*.
```
Not being a priority for any of our customers, we haven't yet scheduled query API integration for timescale. Contributions are welcome if you are interested.
