Description

Tested GE(s): BigData Analysis - Cosmos GE
Description:
While following the User and Programmer Guide we found two mistakes in the
section “Intalling Cosmos CLI”.
The first one is that users are told to se the URL cosmos.hi.net when the
general would be to indicate that the URL must be the Fully Qualifed Domain
Name (FQDN) of the cosmos master node. In the Installation and
Administration Guide the user is left with the default hostname
cosmos-master for the master node and no domain is suggested. In our
example, our FQDN is cosmos-master.cosmosulpgc.es, therefore setting
https://cosmos.hi.inet/cosmos/v1 as API base URL would lead to error.
The second error found was that the package cosmos-py2.7.egg does not exist
in the correct route. If we check the correct parent folder, in our case
https://cosmos-master.cosmosulpgc.es:8000/eggs/, we can see that the egg
package has the name cosmos-0.16.0-py2.7.egg. We have provided a screenshot
displaying the folder and the package in image
Errors_in_Cosmos_CLI_installation_instructions_01.png.
