City leaders profess their love for all things start-up, innovation, sustainability, smart and small business. Yet, our day to day experience of doing business with city government hasn't changed enough. Just last week I was told "Don't tell me more, we're not interested". In our mission to make public procurement a delight for start-ups and small business, we continue to track these experience and lobby for improvements.

We studies the experiences of thousands of urban innovators and entrepreneurs, like yourself, and their investors to compiled the first list of "10 Things Start-ups Want City Staff to Think About". We want to kickstart a conversation among city officials as to how they can become a truly start-up friendly city.
