      Description

      Hi,

I have created an instance (ubuntu 14.04) and then I associated a public IP
      [image: image.png]

      I can't connect to 130.206.123.45. I can not get a response from a ping
      either.

      Regards

        Hi,

The problem is the security rule you've defined for the security group. You've opened port 22 but with no CIDR in the source, this means, "open port 22 for nobody". So, should you modify the rule definition adding CIDR 0.0.0.0/0 (the simplest way to open this port from everywhere).

Everything is properly except for the CIDR

        Regards,
        José Ignacio
