      Description

      Hi,

I'm working on a project where I need to continually download real-time meteorological sensor data from the Porto digital portal (https://opendata.urbanplatform.portodigital.pt/dataset/porto-meteorologia) which uses FiWare Broker .
I'm trying to connect to Porto-digital using a node-red-contrib-fiware-orion ver. 0.2.1, but I get a constant error. I'm not sure if I have properly configured the nodes. I'm not an expert on FiWare, can you help me, how to configure it?

      Thanks a lot,

      Radmil Popovic

This is a very old but unclosed issue regarding FIWARE Node Red. Given that the contribution is now slowly becoming more official, is this something you can deal with? Is this still an issue? Who else could deal with it?

I guess this should be closed and the details added as an issue on GitHub. What do you think?

yes, the new official Node-Red integration for FIWARE is at

        https://github.com/FIWARE/node-red-contrib-FIWARE_official

The POST (Entity update) is not yet supported but it will be soon, so it should be fairly easy to support the use case here described.

We'll close this issue once that feature is implemented.

        Hello! Thanks for contacting.

There is a new Node-Red connector that it has been recently published. I think it can be very useful to your purposes. I'm not aware of who is maintaining the other one you were using

        I hope this helps
