      Description

      Hi, I'm Aarón Segura and I've been having some problems, so I want to know
      how to resolve this and if there are some mistakes in my configuration, and
      in that case which is the correct one.

      I already installed (docker compose, this is the image that I used :
      knowagelabs/knowage-server-docker:6.1.1) Knowage server docker version
      6.1.1 (CE).

      I've been following this documentation to do it:
      https://knowage.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user/NGSI/README/ .

      I want to create a dataset from the admin role (biadmin biadmin), these are
      the parameters that I used ( I clicked on the NGSI checkbox too ).

      In the documentation says that NGSIV2 works but in the application doesn't
      and also there isn't a NGSIV2 button. When I click on the help button,
      there's a pop up with the following content :
      Is it NGSIV1 or NGSIV2?

      Also, when I run the preview, I get this :

      Could you help me? It's urgent.

      Thanks.

        Hi Aarón
        Knowage 6.1.1 has some known issues regarding dates management.
        As a workaround, you can try configuring the attribute as a string (in JSON PATH ATTRIBUTES section you can list the attributes to be considered and their type), or skip it completely.
        Be aware that today we are releasing the 6.2.0 CE version, it is worth to upgrade to it.
        Your URL is .../v2/... therefore you are using NGSI v. 2. The check for NGSI is just one: the "NGSI" checkbox; documentation is a bit confusing, sorry for that.
        Hope this helps
        regards
        Davide

        Hi Davide,

        Thanks for the response. I see that you have updated the github repo to
        version 6.2.0, but docker images are still providing v6.1.1 and 6.2.0RC,
        when do you expect to upload the new version to docker hub?

        Best Regards,
        Aarón

        Hi Aarón
        we are going to release also docker image asap, but at the moment I cannot write any date for that, I'm afraid.
        If problem is urgent, you can follow those steps:

        • stop knowage server;
        • update war files, you can get new files from [1] on WAR Packages panel;
        • update metadata database, you can get script from [1] on Metadata Database scripts (you need to execute MySQL_upgradescript_6.1_to_6.2.sql or the upgrade script for your RDBMS);
        • restart the server.
          Hope this helps.

        Hi Aarón
        I'll close this issue.
        If neither moving to knowage 6.2.0 nor the workaround I suggested will succeed, you can open a new one.
        Is that ok with you?
        Bye
        Davide
