        Hi Anirudh,

I assume you want to access a generic backend service using a GET HTTP request and draw that data inside a WireCloud widget. For doing so, you have to make an HTTP request from within the Widget JavaScript code. I'll indicate different steps for doing so:
You need a widket skeleton, in case you have not yet done this. You can find detailed information here: https://wirecloud.readthedocs.io/en/latest/development/widget_and_operators/
In the javascript code, fired at loading the page (widget) or fired as a result of an event in your widget (button, received wiring event...), create an HTTP call to a backend service using the MashupPlatform.http API. You can find detailed information about this step here: https://wirecloud.readthedocs.io/en/latest/widgetapi/widgetapi/#mashupplatformhttp
With your data, please update widget HTML elements using your preferred library
In case I have not answered your question, or in case you want to access through NGSI data inside a Context Broker (you have a library and pre-packaged operator), please let me know.
