      Description

I submitteted this request as a reply to a previous ticket, but probably it doesn't wok.

      So my questions are:

      • Why in the network section I cannot add a router to connect to an external IP addres (it tells me that the quota is exahusted !)
      • Why I have no possibility to utilize (configure and launch ) templates ? So how can I launch an application with for instance ORION + IoT + WireCloud ?

      Thanks
      Giacomo Tavola

Much better as a new ticket, thank you.

We usually don't allow creating networks or routers to users. This is our policy. You can create a new ticket asking for quotas enough to create your router or network, but it is up to your node administrator to evaluate your motivations and approve the new quotas.

The templates are not available any longer. You can create your applications in several ways: Deploying different VMs, using dockers, etc.

        Sorry for the inconveniences.

        Best regards,
        José Ignacio

        Comment by giacomo.tavola@polimi.it :

Thanks for reply, but I have again two questions:
        1. without router, How can i connect the application to the public IP address in order to access to it from outside the lab ?
        2. how can i deploy an application (as I said for example with ORION + IoT + WireCloud) in a VM ? How can I create the docker with such components ?

        Thanks

As your second question is really interesting, would you post it in Stackoverflow with the tags: fiware and filab? — the answer could be potentially read by others.

Regarding the connection to the Internet of the VMs, you can select the network named "node-int-net-01" for your Virtual Machines. It is already connected to a router and you will be able to assign a floating IP to one of your VMs from the pool "public-ext-net-01".

        Regards,
        José Ignacio
