Description
Hello Fiware-lab,
My name is Miguel Palacios and I am a member of the INAOE team that is working on the SmartSDK project. We are developing a Smart Security application in which we need to do video streaming.
We are trying to do this in a FIWARE instance, but we are facing a communication issue using the rtsp (Real Time Streaming Protocol ). We are using kurento player (the basic example) in a FIWARE lab instance to visualize video streaming from an IP camera with a rtsp url but the message that appears is: invalid uri.
It is worth mentioning that:
- The camera has a public IP.
- The issue is not observed on local server. We did some tests in a local server running kurento player and visualizing the IP camera with rtsp url remotely. The server and the camera were in different networks. In order to successfully carry out the test, it was necessary to open the 1554 port in the camera network (as suggested by the manufacturer).
-In order to dismiss a closed port in the test on the FIWARE instance, we open all the ports in the FIWARE lab instance (udp, tcp and icmp).
Do you have any idea ?
Thanks in Advance,
Best
M. C. Miguel A. Palacios
