      Description

      Responsible: fiware@ulpgc.es

Environment, instance and tested GEs: Fiware Lab - Global instance - Store

Web Browser: Mozilla Firefox, v. 33, Google Chrome, v. 38.0.2125.104
      Operating System: Windows 8
      User id: storedata.test.ulpgc@gmail.com

      Description:

In the second step of the upload process for an offering, you can choose
between “Basic USDL”, “Upload USDL” and “Provide USDL URL”. If you decide
to choose the third one, including a URL that points to a well-created USDL
.rdf file, a Bad Gateway error will be shown at the end of the upload
      process.

      How to replicate
First of all, we started an offering upload process filling the first step
      form as usual.

In the second step, you should select “Provide USDL URL”. A new popup is
shown, there you should enter an URL (example:
      http://www.elnublo.com/sites/default/files/usdl.rdf).

Continue with the upload process as usual. At the end of the process, you
      will find the refered error.

A picture with this error is attached in order to make this clear.

I have been able to reproduce the error, the store expects that a resource is the same with or without an / at the end of the URL, and this works in most of the cases. However, the web page where you have uploaded the USDL document returns a 404 for the URL http://www.elnublo.com/sites/default/files/usdl.rdf/ which is the one used in the request, generating the Bad gateway error.

The problem does not make sense anymore since this was a deprecated functionality that has been removed. Note that this way of creating an offering does not make sense according to our new roadmap, since the USDL description of the offerings will be automatically created during the offering creation process.

The issue is now fixed and pending to be deployed in the FIWARE Lab
