HD-Enabler:IoT Broker
Description
Responsible: fiware@ulpgc.es
Tested GE(s):NEC IoT Broker
Instance: Local
Environment:
Operating System: Ubuntu 64bits version 14.04
Kernel Version: 3.13.0-37-generic
Web Browser: Mozilla Firefox version 33
Description:
We noticed that in the README.md file from:
http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/sites/default/files/storage/enablers/IoTBroker_OpenSource_3.4.2.zip
,
the NEC IoT Broker GE is documented as Aeron name, as we can see in GitHub
https://github.com/Aeronbroker/Aeron.
But that name does not appear in any Fiware official page, like:
http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/enablers/nec-iot-broker,
https://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/IoT_Broker_-_Installation_and_Administration_Guide
or
https://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/IoT_Broker_-_User_and_Programmers_Guide
.

Thank you for pointing out this issue.
The reason for the name AERON are historical, but the stable name will be IoT Broker and we are currenty streamlining the documentation.
