Hi FIWARE team,
I already contacted Thierry, but he currently seems to be unavailable. We have requests for webinars from our Start-Ups from EuropeanPioneers. Is there any chance to organise webinars for the following GEs / topics asap?
- CEP (Complex Event Processing)
- POI Data Provider
- Application Mashup - Wirecloud
- Sagitta
- Cosmos
Open webinars for everyone from the A16 not only our start-ups would be fine and even preferred. Time is ticking and webinars are needed soon or our SMEs won't need them anymore - either because they know the GEs by then in detail or they skip using them.
If useful, one of our Start-ups could also provide a "live coding" infrastructure to add hands-on coding examples during or additional to the webinars: https://www.livecoding.tv/ This could be a great enhancement for FIWARE support and and amazing showcase for FIWARE technology integration.

As discussed during the last coaches meeting, no answer from chapter so escalation
Dear Thomas,
Thank you for your interest in Wirecloud. We are always happy to help, but for the sake of efficiency we prefer to organize the webinars and other dissemination events in the context of the overall project coordination, instead of on a per-request basis. This way, all the Accelerator Programs and other interested parties (developers, SMEs, etc.) could benefit of them if interested, without the need for repeating them for each request. Take into account that there are 16 FI Accelerator Programs.
We have already organized some webinars. One of them was recorded and is available through the FIWARE Academy (Application Mashup section) http://edu.fiware.org/course/view.php?id=53. Apart from this, we have also given some talks about Wirecloud in the past Startup Weekends, EIT ICT Labs events, and, more recently, in the Developers Weeks. Two of these talks were also recorded and are also available through the FIWARE Academy. You can find these three videos in the "WireCloud’s webinars and other videos..." section http://edu.fiware.org/course/view.php?id=53.
I suggest to view first the most recent one.
Apart from these videos, in this course you can also find documents introducing the concepts behind WireCloud, reference documentation (installation, administration, user and programmer guides), tutorials about how to use WireCloud from the end user and developer perspectives and exercises.
This can be complemented with the use of StackOverflow for asking technical questions about WireCloud (remember to use the fiware-wirecloud tag):

If you still see the need to have a webinar on Wirecloud and/or other GEs, I suggest to contact the FIWARE coordination and ask for a new webinar series targeted at ALL accelerator programs.
