Description
Unlike FI-LAB, the Testbed Access is restricted to a set of users. This means that the self service must be moderated at some point. The idea is that the email address must be corporate and it has to be included on the list of partners. This has 3 work ítems:
1.- Please include this step (a moderation facility that stops the sending of the confirmation message until an administrator approves it)
2.- Please mention this in a message once the user has applied for access ("You will be sent a message with a link for the confimation of you account once our administrator accepts your requests upon checking that you are a PPP menber")
3.- You need to add some text in the sign up form to make sure that people do not use gmail, etc. A text box saying this would help: "please note that you are signing up to the Testbed, restricted to PPP members. If you are a PPP member, please use your corporate email (not gmail, yahoo, etc.). If you are not a PPP member, you can apply for an account in FI-LAB, that is suitable for anyone, PPP member or not"
The original ticket can be simplified., Let us reformulate the request. We will filter by email extensión. In the registration process:
1) If the domain of the e-mail address is on a white list that we will keep, the processs goes on as in FI-LAB
2) If the domain is not on the white list, the process is stopped and a message explains to the user the reson why. Please use this text: "Please note that you are signing up to the FI-WARE Testbed, restricted to PPP members. If you are a PPP member, please use your corporate email (not gmail, yahoo, etc.). If you are not a PPP member, you can apply for an account in FI-LAB, that is suitable for anyone, PPP member or not
If you are a PPP member using your corporate e-mail address and you get this message, please contact the support team at fiware-testbed-help@lists.fi-ware.eu to add your domain name to our white list"
Important: a given domain on the white list authorises e-mail adresses in all the subdomains under it.
