FIWARE.Request.Collabora. Additional information request

    Details

      Description

      Dear Sir/Madam,

I work for a start -up and we are considering the scenario of using your
platform to create a proximity marketing campaign application. In order for
us to decide if your platform is applicable for what we would like to
develop we would like to have some more information regarding the pricing
model and metrics that you are using.

Thank you in advance for your answer,
      Best regards,
      Natalia Oumnova

        dear natalia,

first of all thank you for your interest in fiware!

concerning your question, let me say that anybody in the world can use
fiware techologies through our fiware lab for free to experiment the
technologies themselves and implement a first version of the solution they
have in mind. for this experimental phase we foresee a maximum of 9 months
        (renewable).

of course as soon as you want to deploy the implemented fiware-based
solution for business you have to move it to a commercial fiware instance
or deploy the fiware technologies you need on your machines or any other
cloud provider. the latter is again for free being all the fiware
        technologies oss.

the commercial fiware instances have different business policies. if you
are intersted on those, please let me know and i'll put you in direct
contact with them. indeed, we are preparing a fiware marketplace page which
unfortunately is not yet ready for such needs.

i hope the above helps you, anyway, do not hesitate to contact me for any
additional help or clarification you might need.

        ciao,
        stefano

        Comment by noumnova@gmail.com :

Thank you very much for the prompt and detailed answer,

FIWARE Lab is a great environment to experiment with FIWARE technology and
        we will definitely explore it.

As for our business application, we still have not decided if we are going
to deploy it in our infrastructure or on the commercial Fiware.

In order for us to be in a better position to decide, we would like to
estimate the possibility of its deployment on a commercial FIWARE instance
and we would appreciate any additional information you could provide us
regarding the relevant business policies and the costs.

        Kind regards,
        Natalia
