          Description

          Hello,

          I'm Javier Donado and I'm a student of Universidad Politécnica de
          Madrid. Currently I'm doing my final degree project, which is based on
          IoT. Also i focus on fiware's tecnology and I'm really interested in it.
          After searching for information on many websites, I get no trusted
          answer some questions about the state of the art. If you could answer
          any of them, or tell me where to find information, I would be really
          grateful.

          -What points are highlighted in Fiware's technology against other
          technologies such as web services or google amazon cloud platform? Can
          they be considered as competitors?

          -Could be said there is relationship between Fiware and the
          Architectural Reference Model (ARM) of IoT-A? Are collaborative
          projects?

          Thank you very much for your help and sorry for my English, I trust have
          written as correctly as possible. If you believe there is any technical
          document or other information that i should look, please let me know.

            Para empezar, en la respuesta que va para el ticket le diría que tiene 2 grupos de la UPM trabajando en esto:

            Te paso los contactos: está el profesor Javier Soriano xxxxxxfi.upm.es con su equipo en la Escuela Superior de Informática y por parte de la ETS de Telecomunicaciones el equipo de Juan Quemada junto con Joaquín Salvachúa xxxxxxxxxxx@upm.es

            Puedes contactarles para ampliar información y puedes dar mi nombre, por supuesto.

            Si pueden ser competidores, pero es un largo análisis que habría que hacer. Que es lo que estás buscando exactamente?

            Nosotros usamos "web services", son las open specifications. A lo mejor quiere decir SOAP (nosotros usamos de modo casi exclusivo REST)

            Esto es un tema que tendría que averiguar.
