      Question:
      Cygnus for subset of attributes?

      Description:
Our sensors have "attributes" (e.g. coordinates, calibration variables) and "reports" (every N seconds it reports the exact same amount of fields).

Right now all of that data is being stored using Cygnus, in row mode. We want to change that to column mode to keep our report data, but not our constant attributes, those are saved on sensor installation and never changed again.

How can I do it in Cygnus? Also, since we are storing float and integer values with our reports, can I use those kind of values in database? It will help a lot in calculations.
