      Description

      Hello all,

      I am new to FIWARE and I am trying to REGISTER my sensor and update its
      attributes as mentioned in the link
      https://www.fiware.org/tag/developers/page/2/
      I have registered my sensor using following command:
      *RegisterDevice.py SENSOR_TEMP sensor4 thermometer4
      *I got 201 CREATED as a response.
      After this, I tried to update temperature as below:
      *python SendObservation.py a5fa:694:sensor4 't^|6' *
      note: Since I am using DOS, I used ^ as escape character.
      *
      *As a result, I am getting 400 bad request as shown below:

      • Asking to http://130.206.80.47:8002/d?<mytoken>&i=a5fa:694:
        sensor4
      • Headers: {'content-type': 'application/text', 'X-Auth-Token': 'I*********** ***********************************************************3'}
      • Sending PAYLOAD:
        't|6'

      ...

      • Status Code: 400
      • Response:

      Kindly help me to find out what am I missing here.

      Best Rregards,
      Shreekantha

        Dear Shreekantha,
        after a deep analysis, the result is that your Trial Account has expired according to Trial Account policy.
        This basically means that your resources are not longer available.

        If you want, you can apply again for Trial or Community Account.

        Note that for Community Account, the following are standard information you have to provide:

        In order to obtain a "Community account" on FIWARE Lab, the applicant has to described the experimentation he/she plans to do and how it is related with the FIWARE ecosystem. Based on this description the community account is granted or not (mainly it depends on the innovative idea proposed and how this idea leverages on FIWARE).
        So could you please elaborate a bit on this?

        Dear Pietropalo,

        Thanks for the prompt response.
        I am not sure about the node.
        I am using the IOT broker from the FiWare lab.
        I was trying to check my sensor.

        I used the Figway tools (Python) for registering my sensor.
        Here is my config, :
        [user]

        1. Please, configure here your username at FIWARE Cloud and a valid
          Oauth2.0 TOKEN for your user (you can use get_token.py to obtain a valid
          TOKEN).
          username=validusername@validdomain.com
          token=aValidPAssword

        [contextbroker]
        host=130.206.80.47
        port=1026
        OAuth=yes

        1. Here you need to specify the ContextBroker database you are querying.
        2. Leave it blank if you want the general database or the IDAS service if
          you are looking for IoT devices connected by you.
          fiware_service=OpenIoT

        [idas]
        host=130.206.80.47
        adminport=5371
        ul20port=8002
        OAuth=yes

        1. Here you need to configure the IDAS service your devices will be
          sending data to.
        2. By default the OpenIoT service is provided.
          service=OpenIoT
          apikey=4jggokgpepnvsb2uv4s40d59ov

        [local]
        #Choose here your System type. Examples: RaspberryPI, MACOSX, Linux, ...
        host_type=windows64

        1. Here please add a unique identifier for you. Suggestion: the 3 lower
          hexa bytes of your Ethernet MAC. E.g. 79:ed:af
        2. Also you may use your e-mail address.
          host_id=a5fa:694

        I hope this gives what you needed.

        Best Regards,
