      Hi,

      Can you please help Raul?

      Thanks a lot,

      Hola Miguel.

And here I am back, very quick

That time I was able to lunch an instance of "ubuntu13.04-server" image, with "ml.small" flavor.

The instance is: "eed367dc-328d-4321-bed3-6e10d55971e1", the Instance Name is "RT_Test" and the assigned IP is 10.0.1.138.

So far so good, until now

Troubles begin when trying to connect to "my new" machine

      Because:

      • I cannot allocate a public IP. Even in security -> IP address, nothing is being shown in the list. I believe the internal IP of the instance should be listed....

-When try to "connect directly" to display, it says "The server refused the connection", with a sad face icon.

      Can it be a user's - me - issue?

Any advice / doc / guidance?

Muchas gracias una vez más, Miguel.

      Mis saludos.

      Raul

        Hi Raul

Thanks for contacting us. You should allocate a new floating IP in security as you said. Which error do you obtain? You don’t have any allocated IP. Can you try it again and tell me the error?
        Thanks,
        Henar

        Hi Henar.

Thank you for your quick answer.

        Well, now it worked! :-D

I was able to allocate an IP to the project, and to associate it to the
        instance

        I got: 10.0.1.138 - 130.206.83.33

The error I got before was something like "Undefined error, cause unknown".

I still unable to connect locally.

Now I'm gonna try to connect from outside via ssh.

        Thank you very much.

        Muchas gracias.

        Hi

Could you explain us what you mean by accessing locally? You need to use the floating/public IP to access to the VM. Concretely, you should use
        ssh –i keypair.pem root@130.206.83.33<root@130.206.83.33>

Tell us if you have any problem.
        Regards,

        Raul

Concretely, you should use ssh –i keypair.pem root@130.206.83.33< root@130.206.83.33 > Tell us if you have any problem. Thank you for your quick answer. Well, now it worked! :-D I was able to allocate an IP to the project, and to associate it to the instance I got: 10.0.1.138 - 130.206.83.33 The error I got before was something like "Undefined error, cause unknown". I still unable to connect locally. Now I'm gonna try to connect from outside via ssh. Thank you very much. Muchas gracias. Which error do you obtain? You don’t have any allocated IP. Can you try it again and tell me the error?
