Hi FIWARE support,
reaching out to resolve a few things that are still somewhat unclear about
implementing Windows on FI-Lab PaaS.
Based on our latest conversations it seems like this is possible after all.
What we would suggest to do is provide you with a link containing the
Windows image, so it can be uploaded in the PaaS stack.
As for licenses: this Windows image would come with an evaluation license
built in. After that Vicancy can provide for the required licenses to run
the whole setup on FI-Lab PaaS.
In concreto: please let me know if this approach works for you guys, so we
can proceed along this path.

I seem there was an email thread in June between all IOs about Windows VMs, but I don't remember the results of that discussion (maybe even Juanjo was involved on it).
Could you please take charge of this ticket?

My suggestion is to tell the user to ask the IO to upload the image on the given node. In order to do this a ticket should be open by the user explaining on which node he want the VM/image uploaded. Moreover the user must guarantee for the license. Then the ticket should be addressed to the specified node and the IO should contact the user in order to get the details where the image should be downloaded from.
