Dear Akihito,
Although not any longer part of the FIWARE consortium, two Brazilians partners were with us for some time.
In any case, you may want to complment the information supplied by Sergio by taking a quick look at this public document:
All the best,

Dear Akihito,
FIWARE has been very active from the beginning in Brasil.
- A Brazilian university has been involved in the deployment of a FIWARE Lab node. This activity is not finished yet.
- At least there have been two editions of Campus Party where important challenges and hackathons, and workshops have been carried out around FIWARE technologies.
- There are several cities that have joined the Open and Agile Smart Cities initiative, where some FIWARE technologies are promoted. http://connectedsmartcities.eu/open-and-agile-smart-cities/ . Olinda (Recife), Anapólis (Goiás), Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul), Vitória (Espírito Santo), Colinas de Tocantins (Tocantins) and Taquaritinga (São Paulo) and recently Rio das Ostras (Rio de Janeiro).
- Telefonica is providing some commercial services around IoT and Smart Cities based on FIWARE technologies.
Best Regards,
Sergio.

Asunto: [Fiware-smart-cities-req] Information about Brazil
Dear sir,
I am a master´s degree student at Federal University of Parana (UFPR) and I would like to know if there is any representative or company here in Brazil who I can contact. Your plataform seems very important to my research because my thesis will approach Smart City, in particular for brazilian market. Are there any iniciative to bring FI-WARE expertise to Brazil?
Thanks.
Akihiko Sato
I believe that this is FIWARE Mundus related -> Stefano and/or Luis Ignacio
