Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I will put you in direct contact with one of our engineers. Please note that the best list to use in this case is the fiware-tech-help, not fiware-lab-help (see http://www.fi-ware.org/contact-us/)
Let us see what we can do for you.
Regards,
Miguel

Hello Fiware community,
I am not entirely sure I'm in the right place. I recently saw the Fiware booth at the GCTC in Washington DC. I was busy with my university's booth and exhibit, so I didn't get a chance to stop by the Fiware table. Nonetheless, it looks like Fiware may be what I'm looking for, soI want to be sure before diving in.
I am working to develop a flexible and universal IoT node module based on the new ESP8266 wifi module. As part of this hardware/software project, I'd like to integrate some true IoT features. I'm very much interested in open-source platforms that can facilitate data collection and processing.
Can someone tell me what aspects of Fiware I need to look into, what kind of service it is aimed at creating. I saw something about 9 months license or something to that effect, so I want to make sure I don't design something that becomes deactivated in a few months. Basically I just need to know which parts of Wiware are the right parts for my project, and what kind of service it offers long-term.
Thanks for any assistance and guidance,
