In first place, you need to know if you really want to share the data, either fully open or sell it (which is supported by the platform by CKAN and WStore), so that others can reuse it. Maybe is proprietary data from your application and you do not want to share it.

If you want to publish static information like names, addresses, areas etc. you can use CKAN as an data repository either for releasing it open or to configure it's availability in the Store, or a regular database owned and managed by yourself.

If you want to manage, apart from the static data, dynamic data about the messengers, like continuous CO2 saving updates, messenger status, availability, even delivery assignations, you could use the Context Broker. With this GE and it's NGSI based Entity-Attributes-Metadata model you could, apart from modeling and storing the static information:

· Make queries about messengers.

· Subscribe to changes in the status of a messenger. You could even define an attribute for messengers with the queue of pending deliveries, and an application could trigger notifications to the messenger when new tasks are received.

· Both in subscriptions and queries you can take advantage of location features of Context Broker.

· Monitor and visualize in real time individual or aggregated information about CO2 consumption, packages delivered, etc.

· Define real time rules for managing assignations, trigger alerts, etc with Complex Event Processing (CEP) GE. You could define situations like:

o An available messenger has not deliver anything in a time window.

o A messenger has too much pending work.

o Etc.

· Store all the changes in a Big Data /Cosmos GE to make offline analysis (performance, CO2 savings, etc.).

Sir,
We're a SME developing a Mobile Web Application for Transport Messengers.
These Messengers will be based in their neighborhoods and with their day to day activities they will save CO2, thus reducing Carbon Footprint.
We would like to publish to the market, in an OPENDATA Fi-ware tool, two kind of data sets:

1. The messengers data: where are they based, their delivery area, the services they provide, their work schedule: timetable, holidays,....

2. The CO2 savings per each messenger and within their delivery area
Could you help us with which GE could we use?
Is there any other component within Fiware that we could use?
