It is a very interesting opportunity for FIWARE. As you may know, I am also involved in data-related initiatives, and I have always promoted the role of FIWARE in those ones. As you know, FIWARE attracted a lot of people during the Smart Cities event recently held in Berlin.
It would be good to know if the agenda is already closed so that we can inform the potential speakers about concrete date and slot, as well as (if possible) duration of the speech.
Thanks in advance and please, even though confirmation of the speaker is pending, count on FIWARE to be included in the programme of the next edition of EDF.

Dear FIWARE representative,

I plan to organize a satellite event on "smart urban mobility using open data" during the European Data Forum 2015<http://2015.data-forum.eu/> event which will take place on November 16-17 in Luxembourg and would like to link this event with FIWARE and in particular with the NGSI API<http://www.programmableweb.com/news/open-standards-civic-tech-apis-edge-closer-to-reality/2015/03/20>. I am quite active in promoting FIWARE in Luxembourg (FIWARE Mundus ongoing, promotion of the accelerator, ...) and also involved in the Action Cluster Smart Urban Mobility of the EIP Smart Cities.

It would be interesting to have a FIWARE representative specialized in urban mobility using open data. How could we proceed ?

This is Philipp Slusallek from DFKI in Saarbrücken, not very far from
Luxembourg .

We are involved in FIWARE as well as the FIcontent Use-Case project,
which also has a Smart City Services focus. Within FIWARE, we are
responsible for the WebUI chapter, which deals with the interactive
visualization of data via the 3D-UI, Point of Interest (POI, closely
related to NGSI), and related enablers (provisioning, visualization, and
interaction of and with data).

Since Luxembourg is only about an hour from here, we could offer to
contribute in various ways including also demos, presentations, and
others, both for WebUI technology and as needed also for FIWARE of
FIcontent in general.

This sounds great ! I will try to get a (shareable) draft agenda of EDF2015 from the main organizers and put an option for Monday November 16th for this workshop (as there is the Barcelona smart city event starting on Nov. 17th).
@Philipp: many thanks for your offer ! Indeed, it would be nice to have some hands-on experience of FIWARE like demos. I am also in contact with other FIWARE accelerators (SOUL-FI, FI-ADOPT) involving Luxembourg.
