      Description

      Hello Again,

Please I need the base rpm and mqtt rpm to install it on my Virtual machine.

My original question started here : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30483735/installation-of-idas-to-use-with-orion-cb

The stack overflow thread has yet not been answered.

I have a new virtual machine and I have been struggling for a whole day to install all those dependencies :

      boost: 1.55.0 (http://www.boost.org/)

Pion Network Library: 5.0.6 (http://pion.sourceforge.net/) (depends on boost and log4cplus).

      MongoDB driver: legacy-1.0.0 (http://docs.mongodb.org/ecosystem/drivers/cpp/)

      rapidjson: 0.11 (https://code.google.com/p/rapidjson/downloads/list)

      log4cplus: 1.1.3-rc4 (http://sourceforge.net/p/log4cplus/wiki/Home/)

cppunit: 1.12.1 (for unit test) (http://sourceforge.net/projects/cppunit/)

gmock: 1.7.0 (for unit test) (https://code.google.com/p/googlemock/)

libvariant: 1.0.1 (for json schema validation) (https://bitbucket.org/gallen/libvariant/)

This is NOT AT ALL an easy way to use an IoT Agent. Compiling and configuring for hours and still I can’t get to build a single RPM in order to deploy.

The tutorial does not provide a step by step on how to make it and is very unclear : https://github.com/telefonicaid/fiware-IoTAgent-Cplusplus/blob/develop/doc/build.md

Why not just give the rpms already built in the download section? (We already have the base RPM and the UL2 version how about mqtt?)

Or like Orion context Broker a virtual machine where all is already configured.

        Hi,

It sounds a bit strange as many others were able to compile and generate the RPMs themselves.

However, we are providing the MQTT RPMs at the catalogue in the comming days.
        Stay tuned.

        Cheers,
