      Description

      Hello

I am a developer that is using your Fiware Generic enablers. I belong the vf-OS project (http://www.vf-os.eu <http://www.vf-os.eu/>) and we are using your enablers.
Some time ago, I checked your platform and downloaded some generic enablers, but currently they are not available on your web site (https://catalogue-server.fiware.org/enablers <https://catalogue-server.fiware.org/enablers>).
They are not considered generic-enablers anymore?
I am referring the following generic-enablers:
      IoTAgent
      ObjectStorage
      InterfaceDesigner
      Thanks in advance
      Best Regards
      João Gião

The answer can be found here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/52970466/fiware-generic-enablers-list

The reduction was annouced at the Porto Global Summit - see slide 15 of the presentation

The requirements for being a FIWARE/Incubated GE:

Fitting in a "Powered by FIWARE" architecture
        Committed technical support
        Contribution to common roadmap
        Relevant Adoption
There is a periodic revision at TSC level and this reduced the list from 48 GEs + 4 Incubated GEs to 13 GEs and 9 Incubated GEs (which includes several new additions)
The core mission of FIWARE has been clarified around context data management only - those GEs which were not a good fit are not actively promoted as FIWARE.

The latest catalogue of GEs can be found on GitHub

So yes these products are no longer considered to be part of the current FIWARE Catalogue - that doesn’t mean you can’t
Use them if they are working for you, it’s just that either they are directly connected with Context Data Management

I think the IoT Agents have evolved to : https://github.com/Fiware/catalogue/tree/master/iot-agents
So this is a name change rather than a disappearance.
