Description
HiThere,
I am not sure if there is allready a fiware node here in Amsterdam.
If so it's probably at the ACE of the UvA right (amsterdam centre for
entrepreneurship)
Just let me know how it works.
kind regards,
Peter Bruun

Dear Peter,
to set-up a node you need a datacenter with a capacity of at least 100 cores for computational resources and a reasonable sized pool of public IPs (around 100). FIWARE nodes are based on OpenStack technology, which is very innovative but also quite complex to operate. Thus I advice that the team taking care should have some experience on that. At the moment there is not funding available for running new nodes, so it can be only on free-voluntary bases or commercial bases (but not in connection with FIWARE Lab that has to be free). In the next future there will be an open call to provide funding for new nodes, but it is not yet published.
Let me know if you need further information to proceed.
Regards,
Federico
