Description
Hello,
I am contacting you on behalf of Telocate, which is part of the Frontier
Cities 2 project. I am part of the team who works on the usage of the
Fiware modules. We were told by our technical coach that we could ask
here for help.
We are trying to use the function catalogue of Knowage. Unfortunately we
can't get it to work.
We tried the Docker version and discovered that it is a known bug. (see
https://github.com/KnowageLabs/Knowage-Server-Docker/issues/4).
This would be our preferred usage way. Is there maybe some kind of
workaround for it?
For the default installation we installed all the necessary packages (R,
RStudio rJava and Python) as well as all as all the engines from
https://forge.ow2.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=442. (The engines
didn't install with the default installer.)
After the configuration we got this bug for python:
https://www.knowage-suite.com/qa/2277/user-python-in-the-function-catalogue
And for R this occured:
https://www.knowage-suite.com/qa/2225/cant-get-r-scripts-in-the-function-catalogue-to-work
The logs and important information are in these threads.
Also we found that the documentation how to set up was missing as well
in the manual as in the install guide.
It wasn't mentioned anywhere what the required packages were so it is
possible that we are missing some required packages.
The host system was in both cases Debian9.
Yours and thanks in advance,
Philip Klein
