Dear Mrs. Stoitchkova,

i'm providing them in line to your email.

In FIWARE we do have two different kind of initiatives to support and boost the adoption of our technologies: FIWARE Accelerate and FIWARE iHubs.
The first rely on organisations who would like to set up acceleration projects which will provide acceleration means to SMES and Start-ups with the aim of boosting the FIWARE adoption, while the second is to set-up physical offices where services about the adoption of FIWARE are provided to both adopters and domain stakeholders. A FIWARE iHub may include also acceleration services.
> What are the prerequisites for this?
As such there are no pre-requisites to become a FIWARE Accelerator nor a FIWARE iHub. For a FIWARE recognised acceleration project what is needed is that applicants will be selected becouse their applications will be classified, when successfully deployed, as "Powered-by-FIWARE" applications (more info here https://marketplace.fiware.org/pages/how-to-apply)
> Are there exact guidelines for the accelerators or they are rather
> independent?
We do not have yet guidelines for FIWARE accelerator projects, while we have quite precise guidelines for establishing a FIWARE iHub (https://www.fiware.org/community/fiware-ihubs/#). The page describes what is a FIWARE iHub, which are the benefits, which are the current iHubs and at the bottom of the page you have the link to the guidelines. Anyhow, in cc of this email Juan Marcelo who is the chairman of the FIWARE iHubs Mission Support Committee who will eventually may clarify issues you might have on the matter.
> Are there open calls to become Fiware accelerator?
Yes. For both accelerators and iHubs the call is continuously open.
> Even if the accelerator is set up independently, is it possible to
> establish partnership with Fiware?
If your acceleration project fulfill the "Powered-by-FIWARE" requirement the project will be recognised by us and thus advertised. Eventually we can also provide some dedicated training.
> Is it possible to become a node of the network (I see that unlike many
> countries, there is no Fiware representative in Bulgaria).
If you refer to the FIWARE iHub network, the only we do have, absolutely yes. Please refer what i said about iHubs and related procedures.
> Should you have interest in a potential partnership, I would be glad to
> have a more throughout discussion on the phone/skype.
I'd appreciate, just let me know.
