Hi,

We agree with Miguel from Talkykar. We have trying to perform some basic
operations with COSMOS following the tutorials but it does not work.

Hi,

your HDFS userspace has the right permissions:

1. hadoop fs -ls /user | grep antonio.gonzalez
   drwxr----- - antonio.gonzalez antonio.gonzalez 0 2015-07-03 10:43 /user/antonio.gonzalez

I guess you have ssh'ed into the Namenode (cosmos.lab.fiware.org) as antonio.gonzalez and have tried to perform some hadoop fs command; can you confirm that? If you logged as any other user, you wont be able to see the contents of any other user.

By the way, hadoop fs -cat lists the content of a file, and /user/antonio.gonzalez is a directory. Try doing:

$ hadoop fs -ls /user/antonio.gonzalez
