Hi Chaim,

I have some news for you ☺

1- The Atos node is almost ready, so we would like to setup a brief call with you to learn about your requirements, etc. Would you have some availability next week?

2- Also the lead person from Engineering has told me that their commercial node is available for SMEs. I am trying to learn who you can talk to from their side for pricing, etc.

3- There will be a number of other commercial FIWARE nodes available in a few months or so (the open call for new nodes have just closed, so they are just starting the setup process)

Please let me know your availability for a call for the ATOS commercial node next week.

In the meanwhile, I have seen SMEs follow the other options you have mentioned, i.e. deploy on third party cloud platforms such as Amazon, or install GEs on their own servers using Docker, etc.

I am inquiring with the coaches team, to see if there has been any new developments with the commercial nodes recently, I will let you know if I hear anything.

My name is Chaim, I am with the noviQr project from Fi-Adopt Call 3.

We are using the Fi-Ware labs node from inception and on through our pilot which is occuring now, but at the same time, we are ready to make the move to a more commercial enviroment ahead of our expansions planned for later this year.

I reviewed all previous emails we have on the subject, as well as all the information I could find online. From what I understand, regarding our choices for other enviroments besides Fi-Ware Labs, commercial nodes are being set up by different companies and there are some available in very specific locations, and we are trying to understand how this works and which one can work for us, hosting our platform.

My main question is what is done by other apps/teams going commercial with Fi-Ware?
Do they opt to host on one of these commercial nodes, host on Amazon with FiWare VMs or create their own infrastructure?
So far, we did not get any good support in answering this questions.
Could you please direct me to where or from whom I can find the relevant information so that we can initiate this process ASAP?
