thank you for the instructions. However I don't have option to add dataset
as describe in instructions:

I believe I should be part of some Organization to be able to add dataset
or somehow be authorized to add new dataset.

In a nutshell, since we have to deliver an operational implementation of
our solution I have several questions.
1. My customer has geo-spatial datasets that should be published and
catalogized. Since my customer is in republic of Croatia its prefferd
catalog for publishing is on Croatian's Open Data Portal http://data.gov.hr/.
This is DKAN implementation. Mix of Drupal and CKAN in back end. Does
publishing of my customer open data set on Croatian's Open Data Portal
count as usage of FIWARE CKAN GE? Since I believe it is necessery to show
FIWARE GEs utilization.
2. Regarding hosting, does solution necessary has to be hosted in FIWARE
Cloud. If so, hosting service should be provided on longer base than 9
months. Does hosting solution at commercial hosting provider has a negative
impact on overall impression?

Hi all,
Even though the criteria about what’s enough is to be agreed between the accelerator and the coach, you know that regarding open data, there are various levels for the evaluation:

0. Not using open data / ckan at all

1. Consuming data (or metadata ) from a CKAN portal

2. Publishing open data (static, datastore, etc.)

3. Publishing NGSI based open data and cataloguing it through CKAN.

The first two cases IMHO should not count as using GEs. If the instance used for cases 2 and 3 is the FIWARE Lab or another one, it’s not so relevant. However, I’m not aware of any other instance with the NGSI-CKAN plugin… though that would be easy to overcome.

On the other hand, using the FIWARE Lab is not mandatory (of course it gives FIWARE points — not too many though). You are allowed to use any other hosting that you wish.

All in all, no GE or FIWARE service is mandatory by itself, but you have to use enough of them.
